I planned a Kruger trip for a bunch of Scots I met in England years ago Now they coming in the middle of Jan and staying 3nights Shing, 4 nights Satara, 4 nights Lower Sabi

Hi Cheetah.

Looks like the Scots will be having a fab time in the Park looking at that iternary. There is one prob with my friends trip. He is staying only one night at Pretoriouskop since the trip only got booked today for 2mrw, and bookings are difficult to find.

Will it be possible to make it from Orpen to Pretoriouskop if he enters Orpen at 9?

How is everyone today? Hope all is having a fab festive season. I know my best mate is. He is in Kruger, and he alread had 2 Lion sightings, 1 with 6 Lionesses and the other with a Lone male next to the road. I know it is not good to be Jelous, but I really wish I was in his place in the Krugs instead of typing this from College.

For someone who visited Kruger almost every 2 weeks, to visiting the Park once or twice a year is just sad, I need to somehow stop studying and come back home.

By the way I have a strange thing to tell you all. Since I was small, I have had a dream very often, in which I saw lots of elephants outside my house, and I have had an elephant dream very often, where an elephant was outside my house and the dream is very frequent to me. But recently my dad had a dream, in which an Elephant from Punda came, and took me away I dont know what is it with me and the ellies, but for some reason we have a strange connection in dreams.

Have patience lad. Kruger is not going anywhere Your time will come when you can enter Kruger often again

He seems to be managing really well and with great sightings along the way as well. I know Kruger is not going anywhere but the scary concept of Rhinos being murdered everyday is a scary concept to deal with.

You ryt, I will talk to my dad about those Nellifant dreams, it might have some sort of meaning such as they calling me to Kruger.

Cheets, just to ask you about your answer on the WILD DOG packs, what do you think are my chances of seeing them if I spend 3 Nights in Lower Sabie and 2 Nights in Satara, or do you think a better option would be 3 Nights Skuks and 2 nights in Maroela but this is for the winter months which is in June - July. Because that is the only time I can go to the park.

Honestly, June is a bad time to see the dogs. They are in their dens.
In which case, I would say forget about the dogs, and stay in the best camps. And the best camps are Lower Sabi and Satara And you must do four nights in each

Ag nee man , The winter months happen to be the only months when I visit the Park , The four nights each sound very tempting especially because I only manage to visit the Park once a year, but my problem will arise with my bud who has works, and therefore it depends if the boss will give him that many days off.

My buddy saw 3 different Lion sightings today, and a pride of 12 between Skukz and Satara . He saw the whole BIG 5 in a SINGLE DAY.

Now, let me first catch up with everything on the forums before I start typing my TR up.
