How is everyone. Looks like everyone has been enjoying. I am finally back after a week of the Forums. WOW, All this assignments really took their toll on me, SOO MANY. But now its all done and dusted , but still a week of College left

My TR will be updated soon, very soon indeed but first I want to catch up on all other TR's and excitement.

Cheetah, I will agree, the end of year is really tiring, but unfortunately, this is only half year for us in the UK, since our year ends in June

As far as commenting is concerned, My memory says I have commented unless there is an invisible update

I also had a chat with my Best Friend from South Africa today, with who I grew up with, and I had a Laugh. I still cant stop laughing, am surprised, that my brain still remembers the Primary school days, and Nursery days. But it really made my day, I cant remember the last time I had such a good laugh.

I am busy updating my TR ryt now.

Just in relation to your comment about the cars at the gate ...
the number of cars seen there in my TR are the norm every morning. But usually they will be behind us There are four companies that were a constant at Paul Kruger Gate every morning. 'Eco Africa' 'Thompson's Safaris' and 'African Spear' are three I can remember. Then you have taxi's that have Skukuza staff in them and they skip the queue to go through the gate before it is gate opening time, and speed to Skuks. So besides the queue, about 3 taxis have already gone through!

This is not even that bad Kallis, we were there when it was not school holidays During school holidays, there is a queue so long you can't see the gate from where you stop at the back! That is why people have to make a booking to be day visitors so that the gate doesn't reach full quota while you are in the queue!

In the festive season, Croc Bridge, Malalane, Phabeni and Paul Kruger all reach their maximum quota of people allowed in (and that is many people as the quota is lenient) and all the camps are fully booked. Just giving you an idea of how hectic traffic gets in the South

OMG , Thanks for the reply, but WOW, that is settled, I will NEVER visit the South during School Holidays. You dont see that many cars at the Gate even during school holidays in the North.

WOW, Kruger has many mysteries. WOW.

This is Malalane gate in December 2010.
You are about 35 cars from the gate. So many cars that you cannot even see the gate from where you are parked. We arrived there 30mins before gate opening to find 35 or so people have beaten us!! There were about 10 cars behind us as well.



As you probably know, the gates open at 05:30 in Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb but the camps open at 04:30. So fully booked Malalane, Berg en Dal and Biyamiti have been driving around for an hour while we sitting out here! Then all these cars in front of you ... you can just imagine how your chances are almost 0 of finding a preditor on, or close to the road. Traffic eventually drives them into the bush.

So be sure not to oragise to day trip into Kruger during school holidays Especially in the Christmas season

WOW. , That looks like Jozi traffic. I have never had such a long que at Punda gate over 18 years which includes Christmas time, I normally arrive between 10 to 15 mins before gate opening time at Punda, and I am first in line so the South is a place to stay away from during the holiday time. The good thing to know is that there are soo many people who enjoy the bush, and get to the gate first thing.

Hope everyone is well. My Kruger bud is going to Kruger tomorow and will be staying at Pretoriouskop for 1 night. Cant belive I had to organise the whole trip, do the bookings, plan the routes, and am not even going , I am feeling soo jelouse of everyone going to the Park and am in the UK
