It certainly was a stormy morning nothing like a drive to work in a storm to wake you up.

It is real quiet with people away, I guess its going to be quieter in deecember, I wonder if Cheets and Heksie managed to find the maroela HB for my challenge

The cricket is really awesome at the moment, really hope we can finish the aussies off today.

WOW, the weekend is over and back to normal life.

The Proteas showed the WORLD why we are NUMBER 1. Dale Steyn is Amazing, He was surely pumped up. How I hated Ponting all his career but today I had to Salute him because he WAS a great batsmen, but I still hate him.

Evening v's Very quiet with some of us being on holiday Hope everyone's well and having a good time!! Christmas is just around the corner!!! I can't believe how fast this year flew!!! I'm heading for jozi tomorrow and dreading the big city Does anyone know anything about the COSATU e-toll strike that's supposed to happen sometime this week?

Ive just stumbled across this forum and its great to see so many young people interested in nature. Im 23 and Im a student at Saasveld (NMMU) in George. Im studying nature conservation and Im going on prac to the Ai/Ais/Richtersveld next year to finish my diploma . I hope everyone is having a good holiday and that you are resting well.

Hey everyone Happy hump day (Only 3 more humps left in 2012)

I am not on holiday yet stuck at work lol and I am going to have a rather busy last week but atleast there is the reward of kruger after that week.
Speaking of the trip there has been a slight change of plan, My dad has to go to Germany on business that weekend so my mom will be joining my sister and I. We will now be Spending 2 nights at lower sabie in a 3 person hut and 2 nights at Skukuza in a bungalow.

Also the red chested cuckoo I have been hearing around work finally showed itself to me this morning it landed in the tree right in front of where I parked, great way to start the day

Thats is an awesome field to be going into, oneday when I have bought my 4x4 overlander I will definitely be making a trip to the Ai/Ais/Richtersveld

Sorry I've been so quite everyone, been birding non-stop the past few days. It's been good though, found Eastern Gautengs 1st ever White-backed Night-Heron yesterday at Mabusa, and twitched South Africa's 5th ever Collared Flycatcher this morning.
