to improve your chances of seeing wild dogs, just keep in contact with me
The best camp in Kruger for wild dog sightings is Skukuza! You could see them on virtually any road around Skuks 8) The Skukuza pack of 19 is nearest the camp, and often seen around the H11 Paul Kruger road and S1 Phabeni road junction, or the S114 Renosterkoppies road. The Lower Sabi pack of 14 is also within range, as well as the smaller Pretoriuskop and Jock Safari packs :D

The dogs used to be frequently seen near Malalane, but they seem to operate more to the East towards Crocodile Bridge these days. There is a breakaway pack of 4 operating around the hippo pools turn off on the S25 Croc River road, while the big pack is seen sometimes on the H4-2 CB-LS road.

But Skukuza is tops for the dogs I'd say :D And you must come here when it is our summer! Those are the best months for wild dog sightings!

Heyyyy PK  8)
You must be lus for calculus 8)
You also going to Kruger?

Well If I could, I would defantly. i miss Kruger park, Haven´t been there since 2003. Damm lng time, how quick the time can go amazing. Its good to hear about Skukuza, but to be hones I hate that camp. By far to big for me  I rather enjoy the samller one. One of my favorite Camps is either Sirheni or Talamati...

But you are not wrong, arond Skukuza you have a great variety of Game, ones we saw pretty close to the Camp a Caracal at 12.00 O´clock in the morning...

oh well Malaria, in another Forum (not SANP) there are a big discussion about that. I will not gonna join...

Best Regards

Hey everybody  its F F F F F F F F F F F F F Friday

You guys are right when it comes to passing at the gate, that's kind of why I prefer summer. It takes quite a bit to get up to be ready at the gate for 4:30am, generally the people that do that have common decency 8) 8)
Also sightings require a certain amount of luck, the guys who sped off in front of me one morning missed a beautiful male leopard crossing the road. I will post some pics soon.

Well my upcoming trips are short ones, Next week I am taking my little cousins to the park for a long week end to a hut at Lower Sabie.

Then in June im am going with my uncle who is visiting form the US to huts at Balule and then Pretoruskp.

I have to say I love camping at Skukuza out of season, in season I will avoid at all costs
NO to OSV privleges! Equality for all Guests!

well you are correkt, it is all about the question of taste. About the smaller camps, it might be that my Infos are to old, but as fas as I´m aware they were not much more expensive thn Satara or what ever. But it might change. As said I wasn´t in Kruger for a while. I have visited other national Parks indeed:

Etoscha, Namib Naukluft, Chobe, KTP Vic Falls, Okavango Delta, Serengeti, Tarangire, Nogorongoro Lake Manyara...

Sirheni's prices start at R1320 ...
I'm a camper which is R180 ...

So your choice of accomm is more than 7 times more expensive
And if you have the cash (we like to joke about the German's paying everyone's debt) then by all means
But you will find the other Vmites here doing camping

Well I can explain you why. Except the flight and Car everything else is really Cheap for us 1€ is round abou 10ZAR. Meaning camping is 18€ and Chalets 132€ but you have to take in consiedrationthat you can´t compare camping with a chalet. Anyway that might be the reason for your Jokes, but actually the UK have even a better exchaning rate, but it can be that they occur in lower Numbers.

Best Regards
