HEY! IM coming to south africa next week thursday, can´t wait of course. And of course we´re visiting Kruger (4 nights at Mopani)!

Back to school for us in Pretoria, so that is somewhat of an upset And it's cold here! Well actually throughout SA ... hehe
I know that is is snowing on the mountain tops throughout parts of the Drakenberge...

yeh well i havent heard any idea about when i am going back to kruger:( but i hope it will be near the beginnning of next year:)

here in kzn it is freezing! was 15 degrees at 7oclock this morn when i went to school! lets just say i took my blanket with me haha:) how i wish i could see the snow:) never seen before!:(

Yes that's why I convinced my parents to stay there! Ja I know, not many lions and so on, but lots of elephant and huge buffalo herds!

@Ash are you sure it was 15 degrees at 7 o clock in the morning?! If it stays like that till I get there I'll be totally happy:D

I was wondering about something, when I read MichaelWildtuin's reply... I wonder what languages certain wild animals prefer???

Because I know my dogs bark and respond better when someone speaks to them in German; and my cats meow and purr more eagerly when I speak Afrikaans to them. Although they do the same to when someone speaks to them in isiZulu???
Just wondering!

Maybe a buffalo prefers french?? And an elephant like spanish?? hehe

Haha it's probably the way you speak to them. Maybe you speak more harshly in German which makes your dogs obey you quicker. And maybe you speak more gently in Afrikaans

everything is good thanks:) ahhh its also cold here:) but hopefully getting better!

school is school i guess!:) we having touch rugby day tomorrow to celebrate our schools founders day which is going to be fun:) lets just hope they wont have to post pone it again coz of the weather:)

School has been incredibly busy for me, just finished exams last Friday being at a private school and all so we only break up for holidays on Friday.

I have also been incredibly busy with my Bat research and starting up my own Nature Guiding Business etc

school is getting annoying now:) very boring we not even writing tests or doing projects:)

about this weather here in durbz! IT IS WAY TO COLD!!! i dont think ive been to the beach in four months:( now that is depressing!!! its so cold that we walking around with blanckets at school:) hopefully it will start heating up soon as spring is starting soon:D

just joined the forum afew days ago and its pretty awsum although it can be a bit confusing sometimes.
I went to the park in the last week of holz in august unfortunately it was a bit dissapointin but still great to be at the park again.

Howzit Nick, welcome to the forum!! I understand what you mean, it takes a bit of getting used to. Ag I suppose it's just one of those things, guess the animals were just hiding elsewhere. Still give you props for your camera set up on that trip though!
