BB would love one of your beanies, and as the profits go to the poaching funds why aren't they sold in the parks?

Hi LL, Lots of reasons.
The parks' shops are privatised and need to be profitable, so they would have to add on their cut.
I get the kit made here in CT and as much as I love to transport it to Kruger and other parks myself, it is not practical, although a few years ago, before official sanction, I had stock at Tshokwane & Nkuhlu, as I knew the concessionary. I tried with Kgalagadi without success.
I also bear any losses made on unsold articles, and if I sent stuff to a shop, that would pass on to them.
I have (gladly) agreed to donate 25% of the proceeds of all articles sold to VHR, to whom payment is made locally and they reinburse me.
For overseas we find a way.

If anyone else would like beanies, scarves, caps, please pm me.

Beautiful sunrise -3 degrees and heading for a high of 14 here in the South Island of NZ.
I am sure the sunrises will be fantastic in knp in July , hope it will be warmer than here.

Starting to get cold and grey here in Melbourne. The windchill gets me every winter, and my hands stay cold for months!! To put it in perspective, I think we're about 400 k's further south than Cape Town, so we have a long winter. But only 4 weeks before the days start getting longer!! The only thing good about Melbourne winters are naartjies (mandarins here), lots and lots of sport on TV, and the knowledge that spring is on the way!!

6C with an expected high of 22C - clear sky (for the moment!) - no breeze. (Hopefully the Fairest Cape will keep their cold front to themselves ) Trees are in their autumn colours but have started shedding leaves, grass has now turned a beigy yellow and all the visiting birds have flown northwards. BUT spring is just around the corner........ :)
