And this is Nando - he does not like to come out the cage due to the rest of the animal family - (dogs and cats)

The cattery consists of
Image - Bradford
Named after the very moody housemate in our first Big Brother.
He just arrived at our house 7 years ago and kinda liked us - decided to stick around.
Image- Nickerball
This madam sneaked into my black handbag at a nursery

So they are all strays... but they strayed to animal heaven.

The last but most definately not the least of my brood is my dragons - don't let my son hear me ...

Don't have a nice pic of mom and dad to download yet. But these are a few of the 13 babies I raised.

Mom and dad pic I'll send a bit later.

Think I have enough?

This is Sir Winston Churchill - known as Winston - he is a flea taxi of note struggelling to discard them. and destroys (chews) everything left in his way.

All these pets are orphens and found the right home at the right time.

This afternoon, I spent a good deal of time cleaning the carpets of my work room.

My lovely male (neutered) cat decided to once more sneak in and claim ownership rights of what is essentially my territory.
He thinks he owns me, so he has every right to leave his imprint.
I only realised it once I started working this morning.
My client was very polite and did not comment on the pungent feline invasion.

Today, at 1700hrs I decided, that's it, no more animals. As much as I love them, enough is enough. :(
I will give the menagerie that owns me, love, comfort and food, but as they die off, I will once more claim ownership of my house, my freedom and my lawn.

At 17hr30, I had a phone call from "friends of the cat".
Help, we have an abandoned Persian.
It seems that the owners were in financial trouble, did a fly by night, and this lovely animal was left to fend for itself.
It has been living off scraps, trying to survive with no skills. :(
It has been through so much trauma that they decided to approach known animal crazies.

So, tomorrow I expect a new arrival to my family.
Oh dear, once a crazy, always a crazy.

Gosh MM you are so good to take in a Persian!

I have two and its just as well they have beautiful characters and we love them to bits, because they are a lot of work!!
Our two look very comical at the moment cos we have just had their coats stripped off!! It just gets to much for them once the moulting starts ( and us!!)They also get very hot.

I have also said when the dog goes (to doggy heaven) (he is 16 years old) I will have no more dogs  The two cats are just like dogs anyway!

Yup, CC,
I planned my whole day around Mr Lion.

Only, he did not arrive :?

After a lot of frustration, I received a phone call to say that he had fallen asleep and that it was maybe not ok to wake him

I did smile.
In a world where animals have no rights, not wanting to wake a sleeping cat was strange.

Virginia I have 2 adult male and female bearded dragons - from Australia but bred here aswell as my latest baby also from Australia but bred here - a RB2

I know exactly what you mean Virginia - I lost my african grey a little while ago and really could not handle the quiet house. Although I have quite alot of pets - they are all unique.

I miss Nando very much and thought when the pain subsides I would get another Grey - however I don't think I would ever have a Grey again - he really was one of a kind to me.

However what to do about the quiet house situation? Golly I rectified that with a screaming baby that still needs to be fed every few hours...

As yet we don't have a name as I cannot think straight with all the screaming. He/She has now associated me with food and heck if I'm seen we go off in a rampage

But soon this baby stage will be over and he/she will come to his/her own and I'll find a suitable name.
