The workshop is about what you need and how to get results for bird photography. It isn't a problem for me as to what equipment you currently have. I do believe that it will be beneficial for any beginners wanting to enter into this field of photography.. hey, maybe you win the lotto next week and get to buy that 600mm lens.. lol

Hi Robbie. Fee and I would loved to have joined you at the workshop but will be visiting KNP that week. Is there a possiibility that you will hold another workshop as we think that we could learn an awsome amount from you.

I'm sorry but I won't be holding another one like this again for the forseeable future. I do hold these workshops every few months but as they form part of my normal work, the cost to attendees is a lot higher.

Saturday 5 March 2011

Meet at the Eagle's Nest Restaurant Hall in the gardens at 8.30am for 9.00.
8.30 - 9.00 Tea/Coffee
9.00 - 11.00 Presentation
11.00 - 11.30 Tea/coffee scones
11.30 - 12.30 Presentation
+- 12.30 Sandwiches
13.00 - 15.30 Practical photography in the gardens
15.30 - 16.00 Round up and closing off discussions

Cost per attendee R150.00 (this excludes the entrance fee to the gardens)

I think that the costs are very reasonable for a day's outing like this. Any comments welcome.

Robbie A - This is certainly a most generous offer on your part. Unfortunately , my wife who is the photographer, cannnot make it on the day. I certainly hope that you will run this course again. At this moment my wife is practising her techiques on birds in our garden.

Hello RobbieA,

Is there perhaps still place for 2 or 3?

Still need to finalize arrangement but think this will be a great oppertunity to learn.

Looking forward to hearing from you

Martin

Ok, from what I can see, this is the final list of attendees:

1. Mikef
2. Flutterby
3. Duke
4. Mellory
5. Madleopard
6. Tilandi and
7. friend/daughter
8. Richardt
9. Skillie
10. Jannie
11. Bronwyn
12. Belinda
13. Bushmom
14. Bushbaby
15. Wildlover

Please confirm your name and that you will be attending. I have to pay for everyone upfront so I can't change the list after today.

Also, please be advised that the cost excluded the R25 entrance fee into the gardens. I have invited a few other people so there will be some other attendees taking us to just more than 20 people.

We now qualify for a discount on the entrance fee. We will only have to pay R18 each now BUT I need to provide the gate a list of names so that they can let you in. You then pay the R150 plus the R18 (Total R168) when you arrive at the Eagle's nest. Please pm me your forum name and real name so that I can compile the list.

Put me down as Mike Fraser - thanks for the trouble (BTW it is 99.9% certain I will be there - I will in any event pay even if for some reason I can not make it) :) - I will however be out of touch for most of next week.
