Tawny Eagle having a drink at a waterhole. Apology for the wind noise rather a disturbance  ..There was also other animals drinking and walking in the water. Hope the "Grey Loerie" and "Piet my vrou" calls make up for it.

Ellies having a lovely morning drink. Love the sound of the trumpeting showing who is boss, just a pity it did not continue.

On this day we decided to go to Giriyonda Border post, as we had never been there.
We stopped off at Makhadzi Picnic spot but could only have a body break as they were working full steam to get it back to its former glory after the floods.
The road was not in a good condition and very rocky, we thought it was most probably in such a bad condition due to being a thorough fare over the border. Don’t think we will travel it again, however pleased we can say we have been there.
We met up with these Tsessebe on our way to the Border post which was great.

We had stopped to look at a Lion not 50 meters down the road we came across this. Two Caracal not very good sighting none the less was such an awesome sighting and we were very chuffed. Wonder if we would have had a better sighting if we did not stopped for the Lion.

Sable are always high on my wish list…we were fortunate to see this solitary one…it was very far off in the bush, however very pleased we managed to see one.

With the following short clips we have reached the end of the road for this TR.

I had loads of fun doing the TR...and being able to relive the memories. 8)

Roll on May 2014…so that we can experience some more magical moments to add to our “BAG.”

Cute little squirrels looking for food to eat.

Hammerkop in a green pond of water.

Very short clip of this Buff covered in flies…but with a cool grin of his pearly whites!!!

Old solitary Lion on the S100…poor thing looked very weary and sorry for himself.

Ellie family on their way somewhere early morning..bidding us a goodbye on our way out and going home.

A huge Image to all who have followed .... especially to all who commented…. it was great having you all along to share in our memories. :gflower:
