:D well done on the side stripped jackal, they seem to be making quite a lot more appearances lately
I would not mind at all spending a night or 50 at Rabalais
I could spend a year in that hut!!!
Great sighting of the SSJ
What a beautiful family pic
If I was at Orpen camp I would sit in teh afternoons having a picnic on the lawn overwatching that waterhole, I've seen many leopards on the webcams, at night I would stalk it with my trusty spotlight
What a great sighting of the SSJ
I've only seen them twice in the Park and they are one of those special sightings to tick off with every triip
At the time we didn't even really take note only once my youngest said it looked different to her than a normal BBJ did we realize
Orpen is amazing and I am definitely returning
Cape of Storms, another great chapter.
Never spotted a Side-striped jackal, but hopefully coming Dec. Great one.
Little buff with mom. I love to look at the different horn shapes of these D-boyz.
Thank you for sharing.
of your December trip!! Hope you see everything!
Cape of Storms

Thanks!!! I just had to move fast to get in that pic!
Another reason to keep going back!
Just to let you know - I can't see some of your pictures. This could very well be my computer, but thought I'd better give you a heads up just in case there was a glitch somewhere.

It seems they have finished the construction at Girivana and the animals return.
What a chance to see the jackal
