I jumped out of bed...crabbed the spot light ......shone around....

culprit nowhere to be found....

lifted the beds....and there it was...the cutest (not so little) mouse.....got the fright of its life.....cowering away under the corner of the bed....

closed the internal door opened the external door and after many attempts guided him outside....

he couldn't jump over the wall, so I built a ramp in the corner...then looked for him....and gone????

no there he was sitting on the chair...so moved the chair closer to the wall and little hop, skip and jump back to safety of the KTP out of human danger....

the little critter about to get free...

Whilst at Nossob we went for a drive....we opened the gate for guide Robert, here to do the 4x4 Trail, he told us about a kill next to the road...

We found the 'spot' but all vehicles had moved off, as the lions had obviously done a short while before us...

around the corner just before the Marie road split there was a reason to stop and check with binos.....yip....
success

Just before Uri we were warned to look out for a couple of lions, in the shade of a tree, near some vehicle tracks across the river bed....

WE found the tracks    the second time that we had seen this

after a few minutes of looking in all the shade SO points just behind us.....a couple of meters off the road
