Just before Letaba there was a mixed herd of Zebra and Bluewildebeest, the latter with the most adorable babies!

The stretch from Letaba to the gate started off slow - we did get an elephant peacefully munching away next to the road.

Then we came upon a herd of buffalo crossing the road - always a nice sighting and we stopped to watch.

Hi JeanniR & Sheenaugh-Lee! It looks like some kind of swelling on the ellies leg?

In the last pic you will notice a blue car parked on the other side of the herd, quite a way back. We were wondering why they gave the buffalo such a lot of space?!
BUT......... they were not bothered about the buffalo - they were stopped by this!!
