Thank you for all your good wishes dear 'mites! :D

Barryels went to work this morning, after 5 weeks of sick leave. The house feels empty! :(

I shall have to start packing today, time flies! I cannot start to pack any suitcases though, because the 4-legged kids stress too much. They don't mind if I pack the rest in bags, and I must start today.

I have already packed their bag for the kennels, with all their treats, toys, etc.

Hi Barryels, I'll be watching this space! Enjoy a green Kgalagadi and be careful of the Auob lions and your car tyres! KTP is quite different to KNP, but very special! It is almost as if one can not get enough of it, so you will be back again, but do not compare it with KTP! Have a safe trip! FMJ

Thanks for wishing us a safe trip  . Like we say in Afrikaans " hou die blik bo en die rubber onder" translated: keep your vehicle upright and drive safe :D .

Thanks for the warning of not comparing the two parks  . This is why all our beautiful country's parks should be visited to encounter the different fauna and flora unique to each one I think :hmz: .

Will report back to the 'mites how we found KTP and its inhabitants  .

Yes, you can say that again "Baie min dae" not long to go :D :D .

To be quite frank, she is not keen to drive, however we decided that she should take the wheel for a while down to Upington. Think she will enjoy the automatic gearshift and cruise control :hmz: . Will be her first time driving the bakkie  .

I have driven both the previous two bakkies, but why should I? I have done more than enough driving in my life, I am now at leisure!

But I will help you with the driving to and from KTP, but not IN KTP .... you know why! I will drive where I look and not the other way around!
