How cute are those Guinea Fowl youngsters and chicks Noel!

The Hyena looks tired .... must have been on the look out for something to eat through the night! That neck only spells "strength" in capital letters! :D

Thanks for sharing!

Moving along on this long day.
Here's evidence of bonkers. See and hear this bird just about every day, and yet in KNP, somehow it seems different.

Another B, but we won't mention that here on this Family forum.

Here's one for Trrp-Trrrrr. At last I sighed!

By now I'm heading back to LS. N'watimhiri Causeway afforded some delightful opportunities.

Watching and practicing some photograpy. Deliberate slow Shutter speed to try and give a sense of hovering.

And he just like posing after such a show-off exercise.

Other beauties too

Doubt if any bird will risk it with this fellow-looks positively poisonous.

Noel, pics 1 and 2 of the kingfisher works particularly well. They both convey movement in different ways and work very well. Good job, must try something similar.

Thanks you Trrp-Trrrrr. Your family are very considerate, just when I was getting desperate, they obliged. A few times in the next couple of days.

Thanks Soft Top. Getting the focus on the head is the key to those shots and of course timing. otherwise difficult blighters to get for my lower range camera. Thanks for your encouragement.

Sunset Dam, a bit like Lake Panic, always some activity going on there, and if you are lucky, you get a lot of activity, which I got as I returned to LS. Wonderful place to just chill, even better if you have a meal there in your car. Or just coffee. And now there was no baboon troop to fear.
