The Chairman woke up

LP also had this beauty to show this time round :dance:

And my little friend, the Tawnyflanked Prinia was still busy feeding da brood. This time I was able to capture her with some grub

And the not-often-seen @ LP- Giant Kingfisher. Well, I have not seen it there regularly.

I bet it would have been much easier for that Ellie to pick some of the lower leaves, but what an awesome picture of him reaching high up for a special tasty treat! :dance:

Thank you Trrp-Trrrrrr, Sharifa, Barry, Hilda and Bushbuddies for all your kind comments. Much appreciated. Bushbuddies, Sunset Dam is indeed as special, but I much prefer the quiet of LP and the control (which sometimes work) of the amount of cars there are allowed. Sunset Dam can have all residents of LS there at any one time :tongue:

And moving along to LS, where I intended to book in, unpack and rest before going on a late afternoon drive. A troop of Baboons in the riverbed

This one a bit shy of his vital statistics :whistle:

I am getting pretty worried about all these insects that keep coming on unsolicited visits. Maybe I should consider closing the windows :hmz:

And that most majestic of our eagles-no chance he'll ever come into the car.
