and another feeding....
there were 4 Ground Hornbills, walking up and down, but they kept on returning to the same spot behind a little shrub. We realized they were feeding on insects... then I just had to be patient... I kept my camera pointed, zoomed and focus, waiting for a nice shot... (it was very far away though...)

Day 8... the last day in Kruger

Our last early morning drive... It started to rain the previous evening, and it was still raining. We did not have much hope of seeing anything....

and then....

In the very first shot, you can see impala in the road, in the back ground. The impala went off the road, to the left.
After marking his territory, the male lion disappeared into the bushes to our left. The female stayed behind, crouching on the side of the road....
Naturally, we thought he will herd the impala in her direction... so we waited.

unfortunately some of the cars coming from the front, were not as patient....
any case, eventually the female just got up, and walked off to the left as well...

We found the male crouching next to the road, more or less where he went in... So, no hunt to film, no kill ...
but still a pretty awesome sighting for our last morning!
