Stories about cheetahs are definitely my favourites, Aat,

they come, however, close to the tuskers :tongue:

As we now had to change Mopani against Shingwedzi I think there must have been something very special awaiting us there and I do hope that I will have that spotted luck as you had :mrgreen:

The picture of the cheetah rolling on his back is gorgeous :thumbs_up:

What nice poser he was :mrgreen:

I also love the sound of the Cheetah, it has a definite sweetness.

I agree, not the usual stately Cheetah pose.

Yes I remember you missed one cheetah near Mopani... you found him on your pictures later on..

I agree, a bit bittersweet listening to his frustrations, but I'm sure - knowing cheetahs - that he would have melded with his family soon. Guess I'll just have to wait for the rest of this story to see if it's true.

Thanks and good for you... more stories about cheetah to come...

I read all the news about the flood and the consequences ... I hope many roads will be available when you arrive. However it is difficult to talk about favorites next to Tuskers I really like the Cheetah but all kind of sigtings can be special because of situation. I will post more stories based on Mopani area soon... when do you leave for Kruger? :wink:

Idd .. it's the first time I have seen cheetah yawning and rolling on his back... that makes it great to be in kruger every time... to see something you haven't seen before...

Private sightings like this is really wonderful...you can take all the time to enjoy and not to look at other cars doing all (im)possible things to spoil a sighting.... things that often happen in the south... including the tourist-carrying vehicles taking poll position :wink:

So happy about your Cheetah sighting, they are my favourite big cat since I can remember going to Kruger with my family!

Thanks fot the nice words. Same day we heard about another cheetah at about 5 k from the one we saw. So maybe yes he was having a nice coffee with a girlfriend :wink:
