We were on our way o Craig Lockhardt when we spotted this beautiful Ostrich close to the road.
I just love this early morning light.

At Dalkeith a Jackal was sitting in the almost dry waterhole to have a drink

Larger ViewWe checked the tree again, where we saw the AWC the day before and can you believe it ?!
She was still there….
Larger ViewShortly after that a couple of Kudus were coming down the dune.
Could not resist, I just love silhouettes, used a copper filter here….
Larger ViewAnother thing I can not resist….
Taking Mouse pics, lol.

Larger ViewThen we discovered Vultures and Jackals on top of one of the dunes.
Checking with our binocular we discovered the carcass of an Eland too.

Larger ViewOn our way back we checked the Wildebeest Carcass that we discovered the previous day…
It “went” further into the riverbed and some visitors were there too.

Larger ViewBetween Craig Lockhardt and Sitzas we had our most hilarious Wildcat sighting ever.
We had just stopped to take a photo of a AWC that was walking up the hill.
Larger ViewThen we discovered that she was walking straight towards an inattentive Kori Bustard.
Larger ViewThen he discovered her…
Larger ViewAnd got really upset….

Larger ViewIn our kitchen we discovered that obviously someone liked our Cremora….
We already missed a box with matches and a ea towel and decided to put up a cam trap in the kitchen that night…..

Larger ViewThe Cat still in her tree, lol….
And still sleepy….
Larger ViewLater north of Dalkeith again an AWC, this time out in the open.
Larger View
Larger ViewWe then caused a traffic jam here, we knew where the Cat was, but as hard as we possibly tried to explain where exactly he/she was lying. No one was able to find it, even with binoculars and it was maybe less than 10 metres away from the road....
Master of camouflage!
Larger ViewComing closer to Craig Lockhardt we spotted the beautiful Lion of the two love birds again….
Larger ViewBack the camp it was time to set up the cam to see if we got another visitor….
