Hi Barry! Yes, a huge ellie indeed I also love it when the warties are down on their knees either drinking or chomping on the grass - very cute! It's funny, it's only on my last couple of trips that I've seen a brown-headed parrot. Next episode coming up now ...

We continued to Lower Sabie where we had a quick stop before heading back down the H4-2 to leave the park.

We’d had a lovely weekend, despite the weather. Mum had seen loads of ellies and will never ever forget the little newborn one; we’d seen spots – both cheetah and leopard; there had been a couple of nice herds of buffalo, and we’d had a number of rhino sightings too …















… but no lions.

Ellie roadblock is one massive chap lovely pics. ....road looks pretty narrow for quick getaway.

Awesome to have had a number of Rhino sightings and super pics.

So glad you and your Mom had such a stunning time...great Mom and daughter adventure really special.

You and your Mum had quite a lot of lovely sightings WendyA! Especially those beautiful Rhinos!

We also didn't find many Lions in September when we were there! Maybe you'll find them this weekend!

Great rhino sightings all around . No lion sightings . That is the reason for us going back time and again .

Hi Philip1! Yes, WOW indeed! I just hope we see as many on this trip - I think over 70 have been slaughtered in Kruger alone this year ...

Hi Trrp-trrrrrrrr! He realy was a massive chap but luckily he was quite peaceful - as you said the road was pretty narrow if he'd decided to get nasty ... It really was a great adventure and we're off again tomorrow ...

The rhinos were awesome to see Hilda! As for the lions ... the trip report isn't quite yet finished ... final episode coming right up! Thanks for the good wishes for our next adventure ... all packed and ready to go!

Hi Barry! It was awesome seeing so many rhino on our last trip. As for no lion sightings ... it was no lions as at the end of the last bit of my TR ... final bit coming up now!

As usual though, Kruger delivered for us, and on our way out we came across this big boy …



and not just a gorgeous male, he had a female with him …









What a brilliant way to end a magical weekend in Paradise!

So, we now have one more Kruger convert to add to the masses and I'm taking her back tomorrow morning for THREE nights this time ... can't wait!

Kruger NEVER disappoints WendyA! It is almost a repetition of our exit in September when we also found Lions in the road on our way out! What a lovely couple! Beautifully captured too!
