Hi Trrp-trrrrrrrr! I was thrilled to see the leopard ... my Mum wasn't that fussed, I think she would rather have seen another baby elephant!!! It was REALLY wet that weekend but we still had an awesome time! Yes, those naughty monkeys ... as you said though, they only steal because people started feeding them in the first place :evil:

Hi Hilda! Yes, that photo with the two giraffes - one looks as if its been out in the rain so long his colours have been washed away! Normally in weather like that I would have been as miserable as that bateleur looks, but I was in Kruger!!! :dance:

The alarm went off at 5am but it was coming down in buckets so we decided to go back to sleep.

We got up around 8am … it was still overcast but at least the torrential rain had stopped. A small herd of impala and a couple of warthog were grazing by the fence.

We set off up the H4-2 where we found Mr Majestic enjoying his breakfast …

some cheeky vervets …

a couple of adolescent impala …

and a pile of elephant dung covered in dung beetles …

some very dirty zebra …

and a giraffe …

I was completely "Out of Sync" here :redface:

Don't know how I missed this TR but up to date with all 12 pages of wondeful sightings and photos :clap:

Love the tawny with the poor guinea fowl for dinner
You had some majestic ellie sightings. The little one is absolutely gorgeous :clap:

Surprisingly the family looks so relaxed on the road with such a little one

Got my :popcorn:

Hi Philip1! Thanks for your comments. It was very bizarre seeing ALL those dung beetles, I'd just been saying to Mum that it was bizarre we hadn't seen any then we saw that huge pile of dung covered with them and loads more that day too!!!

Hi Sharifa! I am completely Out of Sync as well ... I have been AWOL for ages, concentrating on works going on in my new abode! Glad to "see" you! Thanks for all your comments ... the baby ellie sighting was a truly majestic one indeed and as you said, the other ellies were quite relaxed on the road (a stone's throw from Lake Panic!).
