Gooooood morning Krugerians!

The first sunrise of this Kruger trip!!!! The whole family was there to see it Over the last two days Wild Dogs have been sighted and reported here on the Paul Kruger road to Skuks! So we drove the long way around to Paul Kruger gate from Kruger Park Lodge to look for them! Instead of finding dogs, we were treated to a sunrise!

And some sleepy


Although it was not much as far as lion sightings go, it was nice to know they around! And I assure you my ouma was well pleased with seeing them! "n' leeu is a leeu, is a leeu." (a lion is a lion, is a lion).


We headed down the length of the H11 and took a turn on to Monkey Town (the H4-1) and saw the minks up the trees!


Minki van der westhuizen was running her Monday morning beauty parlour!


The impi warriors didn't have time for such unnecessary activities and were checking out who's the strongest impi on the block!!

As we got to the H12 Bandit Bridge, the marauders were hosting kinder garden! An absolute hit with my mom

Over the bridge and far away, the bandit babies come to play!

Some bobby bandits like to sit on their stump faaaaar away from the nursery school!


This thick shrubbery is ideal terrain for those with the long eyelashes! Searching for some grub in the shrubs! My dad loves these guys!

The dense area is also great for bushbuck! Just difficult to get photos of them!


As the grass became open again we spotted the stoned buck


Followed by just checking up on Rockjumpertjies on the H1-1!


All seems to be in order

What a start to the day. Nothing like that first sunrise! Your "grooming" babs are so cute. They really can entertain for hours!

Hey Bud just found this report and read the whole thing.
I remember that incessant rain in the South as I was also Krugerizing at the same time.
Maybe that golfer should rather use a weed eater by the look of her swing.

Just luvvly! I seem to be one of the few who enjoy watching baboons - maybe there's some connection with them from my previous life. Find their antics so fascinating, humorous and so human like. I find them very entertaining and interesting.
It was good to get the sun back ... 4 days rain was genoeg! ..... and, at last, the opening of the sand roads.

Love your humour ... although not too sure the real Minkie would be happy with you.

Who knows... maybe a stiffneck beanie and a stiffneck scarf around Ouma's cold neck will get her to start looking in the trees for birdies...

How awesome is that sunshine after the rain!!!!! And sommer a birdie withe the sunrise very . Leos for ouma the day gets better and better. Take that dudes . Those mischief makers are too cute!! From the biggest to smallest, but don't let their cuteness fool you, they're like Ah the impi warriors doing what they do best . Stunning of the hornbill!! Those eyelashes make me soooooo jealous!!! Cute buck in the bushes. I always suspected something was up with these dainty bokkies!!! They always look way tooo innocent! Now I know it's because they're stoned!! Thanks for the enlightenment!
