Breakfast (included in the fee) was enjoyed, packed up and ready to head towards Kimberley and Mokala NP

I decided to do the bottom loop on the way out.

My cell phone started ringing....KNP reception...we (I) had left our jackets in a cupboard...so after the loop had to return

This very friendly Steenbokkie was very happy to stay next to the road and posed without running away

Near the gate...this monster kept crawling towards me...head out of focus...just could not get it :wall:

And a very friendly exit :D and we were on our way.....to a new/first time park

Some road works en route, but mostly quiet road.

A longish dirt road and finally we were there. A security gate with camera and 'call box' and we were let in to Mokala National Park.

First up a Tsessebe

We were a bit surprised by the vegetation. Savannah bush veld.

Then some plains Zebra

A Blue Widerbeest napping

A pair of Steenbokkies...just visible

Another pausing to have look then off..

This time a closer BWB

And then we arrived at Mosu lodge...checked in and moved into our comfortable lodging with a view of the waterhole.

Transporting our luggage by means of a trolley was rather novel.

The layout is a not so nice for the units at the back...their view is limited or into the back of the units below, closer to the water hole.

The restaurant was closed, so we relaxed at the braai waiting to see what would visit...
