Already it is your last day in the park :(

A stunning sunrise to start the day always helps lift the spirit :)

We are all waiting to see what the beautiful but naughty lion was up to :hmz:

Catching up again LS - I missed some great stuff...

Just love your daytime moon shot - the African colours with the blue, blue sky and the moon are just stunning.
And all the cute little babies!!! I want one to take home as a pet

I agree - young Mr Handsome is quite a spectacular specimen.

Sad we're at your last day - I've really enjoyed your trip (and I honestly haven't got lion bored :D )...

But I'm DYING to hear about the naughty lions!!!
:D

Catching up again! What can I say about the lions? So pleased that you got some AWCs. Gorgeous owl!  My favourites - Charlie and kids, the cape vulture, the BSK having brunch and of course those 3 cute spotty faces!   Definitely warranted the beamer we saw when we met you guys!

this Lion has a "V", like "vilain" naughty in French
Hi a-m! That French 'V' certainly fits for that lion.  Oh, and did you receive my parcel with the little fox?

Nice shots of the naughty boy too.
We always visit at the end of August, early September. It's easier to get a month of vacation time then. Canada operates on skeleton staff during July and August because that is school holiday time. We would consider December/January except for the fact that it gets so hot. +40c is just too hot for a couple of Northeners.
Timbits, I can relate to not being able to tolerate the mean heat... Us Northern
Hemispherers are just too soft and would melt away. :slap:

Philip, KTP is just magical and the song is actually very apt to describe that place. *sigh*

Thanks, Jan! But that lion is too naughty and doesn't deserve to decorate a room.   Just kidding. But gladly, you can't see the collar on that photo.

Ja, time is already up again. But we'll arrive in KTP 4 weeks from now, so I'll hopefully be able to report new sightings after that. Minus the babies that is. :? And I'm really curious to see whether the elands are still around.
