Late afternoon we decided to go for a last drive to our favourite piece of road (where we saw the Aardvark last June). Came accross this male ostrich on the way

The moon was still full - we could clearly see the Impala that came to graze on the green grass after the camp quieted down

Thanks for all the compliments - granjan, Philip1, Sharifa, Trrp-trrrr, Bushbuddies, Pumbaa and Hilda! :thumbs_up:

Those of you that are from Pretoria or Johannesburg that have not paid Marakele a visit yet - it is the ideal weekend break-away.

Apparently Marakele is not dry and dusty anymore - had some good rain over the weekend! Just one of the reasons we have to go back again - soon - to see it green again!
