The Final Day Contd

Hi Everyone Image

So will my questions every end, and is this really the final day, do we decide to spend an extra night in Orpen because we did not have a WILD DOGs sighting, or did we see the WILD DOGS as our last sighting of the day :hmz: , Just too many mysteries behind one TR.

So without any further delays, let’s start our next episode.

So After leaving all our wonderful animal buddies to be on their marry way and do what they do best, we decided to stop at another lookout point, and I am extremely SORRY everyone, but yet again I do not know the name, so during my next trip, I’ll also take pics of the rock signs which are available at such places.

At this place we came across 2 Hippos enjoying each other’s company.

Image

While we are looking at the Hippos, I’ll tell you a story which once happened when we had visitors from India, and we took them to ofcorz the KRUGER NATIONAL PARK where we came across the whole HIPPO family all sleeping along the Shingwedzi River Banks, and then this OLD MAN that came to visit said, I thought this place is 100% WILD, Why have they put soo much MEAT on the River Bank, and we just LAUGHED our heads off, saying that is not MEAT, and just than a Hippo decided to stand up and walk to the water, and he was like he saw a GHOST Image It took a while to get him settled down again. We still laugh about it every time we see these huge pieces of meat laying on the sand.

So we decided to sit down, and survey the area in the hopes that something amazing pops out Image and than something amazing does appear which was A Bachelor group of Kudu’s

Image

So we just enjoyed the different Kudu’s all doing their own things, and we were just searching the surroundings that maybe we might be missing out on another wonderful beauty of the Kruger hidden somewhere, and while doing that, came across a CROC. Now I Love crocs as you might have noticed in this TR, but this one had his head hidden Image

Image

Meanwhile the Kudu was eating the Fresh Grass of the Kruger making sure, the River area does not become too bushy.

Image

So than it was time to move on, especially since we still had to reach ORPEN, and who knows what we might encounter along the way.

As we left, we came across THE 1000’S OF 1000’S

Image

An ARMY of BUFF’s which could be seen almost everywhere we looked. There was no other creature besides us ofcorz for many a miles besides THE 1000’S OF 1000’S of BUFF’s.

Image

Image

Now as many of our Buffalo sightings, My dad always wants to spend a lot of time with these OAKs, and has GOOD reason for it. We have seen Buffs on numerous occasions, and I mean LOADS of times, out of which we have also seen Lions around the buffs or close by. Figuratively About 40% of our Lion sightings come when there are Buffalo nearby which we have seen. So just a hint for everyone, be on the lookout around Buffie ARMY.

So guys we have many questions still not answered, and we still have not reached SATARA. So we still have a while to go.

As for everyone STAY TUNED. Many more Stories and sightings still to come, and yet THE BEST SIGHTING of the trip, but when will this sighting come????????????????????

Lekker Buff herd! I've also heard that these herds are often followed by lionprides - especially in the North of KNP. So good advice there!

Laughed so loudly at the story of the old man and the meat on the riverbed... They do look like that!
