Hey Crested Val, that is all my Dad ever wanted to see in KNP. He always got his cheethas, but only once the Painted Dogs near Skukuza, 1982 I think.
I've read on the forum there is a group of dogs between Orpen and Satara - ouer destination 4 tot 14 October.
Good luck with the Cheethas and Painted Dogs - I don't have braging rights on any...but I can tell you, I think the Crested Barbets in our tree will be laying eggs soon (she fights with him everyday and spends more and more time in the nest) and we'll be back in time for the babies!
