Unread postby Baffers » Tue Jul 29, 2014 4:10 pm

Hi guys

Unfortunately I got a bit busy at work so not gonna say much. Thought I would post a few of the images though :)

Everything was around Satara and the infamous S100 :)

First up. Apologies for the quality of the next pics. Got a new camera / baby and was still trying to get to grips with it. Got it literally a day before we left for Satara.

Here is another one of the two cheetahs we found early morning on the tar road to Nwanetsi :)
Image

It was misty and rainy believe it or not. So I tried out a long range flash extender and the result was this photo of the cheetah that now appears as if it was pasted into the tree...
Image

This little guy was lying next to the road and is very obviously used to being fed by passing cars as he was begging for food and had virtually no fear of cars or humans.

If people could just realize that they signed his death sentence. He will not survive out there if he is used to being fed by humans.

This busy guy at the picnic spot :)
Image

We also found a heard of at least 400 buffalo. That's conservatively estimated. Biggest heard I have ever seen.

And back in Satara itself found this little one :) Always a pleasure but as usual he tried his best to get some twigs between himself and me. Sorry for the bad shadows. Did not have a good enough flash to get better.

Image

EDIT : Apologies... mistyped URL for one image :) & second edit to correct my spelling ;)
