Those hippo ears are comically cute in relation to the large bodies and 'big mouth'. Great one, Jan. :cam:

On my last visit to Lake Panic at the end of October, the weavers were busy collecting nesting material.

Lake Panic will never be the same for me...what pleasure to see these images.

Granjan, I have a lot of Thick-billed Weavers nesting close to my house and you can captured the way they build their nests so beautifully.
