Jan, if there is now one bird I would like to get a nice pose of - then it is the fish eagle (you know why :D )

It is jus a pity those two sit on that high tree with the branch in the way.

Regarding your pics - excellently captured and hope they are there next week.

Thank you, Jan. :D

Will be in Skukuza or shall I rather say late afternoon Monday, 27 at the Lake and then again early Tuesday. Hope the weather plays along for bird photography.

You captured a great GB heron landing. Seems they love that corner of the Lake.

Saw today the leopard was sleeping close to Lake Panic on 'Latest sightings on BBM', hope to see him again as last time we had an excellent pose and him walking right in front of us on the gravel road and drank some water from the puddles in the road. :)

Will stay in touch while I am there and try to upload a pic or two.

Jan, thank you and have arrived safely, but in raining conditions.

Great pic of the Flycatcher taking a bath.

Well, I did a quick check in at Lake Panic and it was quiet. The Fish Eagle was sitting on the trees right at the far back of the Lake and 2 Jacanas doing their thing below on the right hand side.

Here is the one also taking a bath....
Image

Hope for some better weather and bird activity tomorrow morning early...
