Appreciate the kind comments

a Few years back we saw a Leopard two days in a row at LP

First we found him on the gravel road to the hide.

Lovely green-backed heron and great pose busy making some 'noise'.

The hippo spray is just amazing and agree with you on the winter morning sunrise throwing the gold over the Lake.

What perfect timing of the leopard, Jan. A great series and truly an amazing sighting - I guess the ultimate!

Beautiful Leopard! How long ago was that Jan? Do you think there is still a Leopard near the hide? :D

Thank you for the comments..

Hilda: We saw the Leopard November 2011, but friends of us saw the Leopard last year again at LP and suppose it is the right time at the right place. We saw the female the one day and the next morning the Male and we visit LP for the past 30 years with no luck.

MarkusF: Believe me the adrenalin was pumping and for me a one in a lifetime sighting

Bush buck feeding near the hide (if I think off the big Croc I uploaded preciously not a good idea to feed so near the water  )

One can just hope the Croc wasn't hungry, and that the Bushbuck is safe! Thanks Jan!

Nice close up shot, Jan. Lake panic is one the hides where we as quickly as can be want to reach the hide safely and then back to the car. Always have that eerie feeling. Love it though!

Looks like the egret is trying to hide from the sun. Maybe had a late night?

Cannot agree with you more on the winters morning at the Lake when the sun is rising. Brilliant atmosphere and view that one gets presented with. Lovely :cam: pic in the 'orange' water, Jan.

The egret pose is also an amazing one with wing against the soft background light. Another brilliant one.

Jan, I hope for the best on your computer.
