Appreciate all the comments.

Early morning at LP is the best time to see the Hippo's playing. To sit and appreciate a new day is something I always enjoy!!

Light not perfect yet but still a image to remember.

Agree, Jan. It is just a magnificent place to be this time of day and see the sun rising in the east with hippos playing in front of the hide with a bit of mist on the water.

Great image and appreciate you sharing this moment. :cam:

The light was really bad but I think the pose made up for the Pied pose with his catch........

Catching up, Jan...

The Pied KF with catch of the day is just a great action shot. I imagine that he had hit the fish against the tree a few times. :cam:

The bulbul drinking water is also a great one, Jan

Then the prinia pose - another great moment telling a story.

Love all the pics and all captured 'in the moment' which adds to the bringing it alive.
