There is always something new at LP and we had our first Broadbilled Roller sighting. Never saw one in Kruger and glad we spot them at LP.

Images not great but will keep them until next time.... :wink:

What do you mean "images not great" Jan? I think they are fantastic! And what a special sighting! We have also never seen a Broadbilled Roller in KNP! Thanks for sharing! :clap:

Tx for the kind comments :dance:

While waiting for some action we spotted this small Frog posing for a photo.
Don't know what kind of Frog (some one said it is a rain Frog) but apparently it change it colours during the day, may be to ensure he is not spotted for lunch.

Any suggestions of an ID?

It looks big but is actually very very small........

Unfortunately I cannot find a Frog like that in my Wildlife Guide Jan, but it is beautiful and very colourful! Great picture! :clap:

Hi Jan.
Great pictures as always!
The frog is a Painted Reed Frog. They come in many different colour morphs and as far as I know in the lowveld this version is less common than the normal black-striped ones.
