Yes you guessed it, I dream about the KRUGER NATIONAL PARK!

I have been silently counting the Months, Weeks and days. Now I am finally down to a hour by hour count and can start my TR so that the rest of the world can help me count down the final minutes to departure. :D

T- 250 hours!

Today was CRAZY! The wedding was AMAZING! Spent the whole day packing and running around getting those last minute things. I am sure we will be leaving behind a lot of things. But as long as I have my camera and my SO I will be fine.

Yesturday was my big brothers' wedding. I was a bridesmaid and it was a very special day for my family. I will share a couple of photo's with you...

Wedding done and dusted. S and I set off today packing for our trip. This whole day and most of yesturday is a complete blur I must admit and my usual organized focused self was no where to be seen!!

At the moment we are T minus 8 hours and I am still packing, making 'pad kos' and charging cameras!!

PLEASE hold thumbs that i did not forget anything important!!!

Thank you Suebfly, PNF, MeanderingMouse, Elsa, Hilda, Pumbaa, Puppy, WendyA, Cheetah, Radman, AnneMarie and Anri...I hope not to disappoint.

Here we go!

The month before we left and the final build-up to departure was an absolutely hectic time for me and my family. My work travels reached a creschendo during this period squeesing in visits to Johannesburg, Durban, Kinberley, Ethiopia, Germany and the USA! My big brother got married, my mom visited me for a week, I had the back yard paved, we painted the house, went engagement ring shopping and my house got broken into (they luckily did not manage to get away with anything but I had all of the camping equipment and all the camera equipment in the house  )!! Beleive it or not but all of this happened in the 2 month period before departure!

You can then immagine that by the time the 18th of December rolled around we were exhousted and SO ready to leave!

I made my lists and checked them twice... BUT I could not be sure that I remembered everything. We would just have to manage without the things we forgot. Most important thins were packed.
Cameras
Chargers
Wild card
Reservation Numbers

At 04h00 my alarm went off. I don't remember much about that first morning but I do remember I ignored the alarm. 15 minutes later I saw a figure standing in front of my bed holding a cup of coffee. Suddenly it dawned on me... This is Kruger departure day!! I flew out of bed, got the pad-kos out of the fridge and made myself comfortable in the passenger seat. :D

At 04h37 (only 7minutes late) we rolled out of the driveway, we were on our way to K*R*U*G*E*R!!!Finally!
