Hi ossendryver, this is very weird but this TR starts in 2009 at pretoriuskop and ends in 2010 at ngwenya lodge. Hard to explain  but this is not one trip, only ngwenya is the TR but pretoriuskop is a key factor

Episode 1: The Reason I started this trip occured in 2009......

At the end of July ossendryver and I went to kruger together. Now you must know that I do go to kruger every year so I didn't expect this to be any different. Well, I was wrong. To go with another forum member is AWESOME!!!!! Now it was January,2010. I was clicking around my files looking at pics  when I came across this:Image and
Image and my lion pics from that trip were endless :D , but those two were the ones I saw.......

To be continued

Thanks for comments
Episode 1 part 2 : Remembering those pics, I said to myself, " I need to get more pics like this  ". So now, being the end of january, just like that; I'm going to kruger
 I know you are wondering why this is called the lion TR. But that will come later..... We planned everything so quickly and waited anxiously until July. Then it hit me, I'm going to kruger       after sleepless nights the day came..............

To be continued

Episode 2 : The drive: We packed up the house and drove to get the family. Cousins, aunts, and uncles ect. Now most TR's write and write and write, well I am the same. But have a different style so just READ and READ and READ   We just drove and drove not making many stops when we finally reached the road to ngwenya  The whole time I had those pics out just to remember :P when suddenly I went up and down and up and down ect...... We had got on to the dreaded ngwenya road :? and while everyone sped past we went 0.001km.     This was sooooooo "Fun" :( But it was worth it because paradise IS paradise  When you say to a tourist, " Yes, in africa everything is terrible and kruger is terrible, don't go there  " it's just to HIDE ngwenya and keep it to yourself

The hides are great at ngwenya and the chalets are great(spelling :? ) anyway I would reccomend taking a monster truck to overcome that road  . The first thing you see when entering is: BIG 5 TERRITORY DO NOT FEED  ( who would try that  ) A pair of monitors lived right outside and was trying to get at a few ducklings  , so cute but scary. The bully did not succeed and stormed off hungry Image

I will now leave you under the african sky in paradise Image ..............................

To be continued......
