Rooies' TRs: A big thank you all Aug '11 - March '14

Unread postby Rooies » Wed Aug 11, 2010 2:33 pm

There was a similar thread sometime ago, but I can't find it.

Thank you very much to all for the lovely trip reports currently running and to those who have finished their reports. I read and enjoy each and every one but find it impossible to comment on each and every one. I have also noted how the writers of travel tales appreciate the comments and the ooohs and the aahs from fellow members and I would just want to say, the fact that we don't always comment doesn't mean that we do not appreciate and thoroughly enjoy all the effort you guys put into compiling a report.

Well said Rooies!! I absolutely agree! I appreciate each and every TR and try very hard to comment as often as possible, but when I don't it does not mean that I do not appreciate them!! Each TR is special and wonderful in its own unique way!! So thank to to EVERYONE who makes the effort to set the scene (with pics and all) of their piece of heaven for all of us to share and delight in!!

We4ll said Rooies.
It is probabaly FAC time again and those chosen to be on the committee will now realise how much work goes into compiling the reports . The committee has to read each and every one and its so difficult to make decisions on who to be nominated as there are so many brilliant reports. The same goes for the other categories. Our mites are grand bunch I congratulate you all.

I couldn't agree more. Thank you all for sharing your stories, taking the time to write it down and show us the stunning pictures. Some have been very educational, others hilarious and the odd one even very, very confusing. But most of all entertaining and inspirational. Image Image Image

And from the opposite side, I thank all those who read and show such appreciation for the effort.
It really does make it such a pleasure and all the work involved so worth while to know they are being shared by fellow nature lovers.

I would like to add my thanks to all who write and all who read trip reports.
I have enjoyed every one I have read - but have hardly comment as words seem so inadequate to express the feelings and emotions - each it its own way - has invoked in me.

Indeed ,thanks to all who have taken the time to share their TRs and photos.
As a newish member, and living so far away from my beloved Kruger, I read every word and absorb every picture. It's quite right that we can't always comment on each TR, but THANK YOU ALL, and keep them coming. They are part my daily fix
