The Virtual Region of the SANParks Honorary Rangers has announced that it will sponsor four Kruger National Park field rangers to undergo clandestine operations training. This training is aimed at preparing Kruger rangers for the rhino poaching war.
The current number of poached rhino in South Africa for the year is approaching 300 animals. According to Kenn Maggs, head of the counter poaching effort in Kruger National Park, it is expected that the number will top 400 animals by the end of the year.

Hi! My son is a trained nature & trails guide, but is very keen to get into this sort of serious anti-poaching! Who does he contact at SANParks? Thanks for the assistance! Wade Begemann
