Just a sugestion, how about we have vehicle stickers made for mites which we sell and money goes to some worthy project in SanParks or KNP.
My YR gets so tangled and knotted whilst flapping in the wind you can't see it anymore.

The problem with a sticker is you cannot see it from afar, which is the general idea after all! If you only see the yellow when you are next too each other it will in some circumstances preclude meeting!

I solved the problem by using a Spain mirror cozy (the right colours and they sold cheaply after the World Cup!), covered the emblem with yellow, added a yellow and red bow and there: an instant permanent stiffneck and forum identifier. It is visible from afar and cannot flap or tangle! Just for good measure we have a yellow ribbon on the aeria too!l

Chappie made me some yellow cosies and they look really good and are nice bright yellow.. Val used them when she went to the park .. Chappie made quite a few but she is a busy lady .. I have a template for big cosies and smaller cosies .. Maybe someone out there is good at sewing and makes some.. and can sell them at the cricket or on the online auction.. !!I am not that good at sewing but will always help if needed.

Those mirror things are a good idea! They will have to made of something elastic though, not all mirrors are the same size.

Let's hope that somebody with sewing abilities pic up the idea and do as Liz proposed

Tony, the fundamental idea is right

Those cozzies are great, but I also like the idea of Forum sticker. There was a thread a while ago about Forum t-shirts & caps but the problem was coming up with a logo. Not sure if anything has been decided. :hmz:

The topic ended in nothing like many others. Lots of good ideas, but flops. The VHR were suppose to carry them on........

The forum logo was not abandoned, but it is difficult to get a logo going when not enough forumites participated in the planning stages. Everyone was eager to jump directly to the final product, which is awesome  but allot better if smaller steps are taken one by one

Hugh's cosies worked a treat for us in December, but when we couldn't have them in March (coz we didn't see her before we went) I used a pair of my old yellow trousers (pants for non UK peeps)
They dont tangle and can definitely be seen!!
If it rains they get a wash, and then are as good as new again.

I would still be happy to buy a sticker for charity as well.
