Extra money will be needed for further actions, as this R 2 million is earmarked for a very specific project, nl. to equip specialized counter poaching units with night vision equipment and body armor.

What I meant was, what happens if I enter the competition but mine is numebr 2001, because in the time between my requesting bank details and doing the deposit, the 2000th entry was received? (i.e. a race condition or a 'dirty read' in technical software terms )

There is a team that manages this, and gives people the OK to pay the amount for his / her ticket. They will not allow more than the reserved number of tickets to be issued. They are experienced in this, as they have done a similar raffle for another cause for a few years now. They know how to manage this, to prevent such a situation.

Just wondering...are the prizes fully donated, or will they need to make up the difference in the ticket sales? either way it will give the rangers the necessary funds to get a real jump on their objective...excuse the pun
