Unread postby Imberbe » Fri Sep 10, 2010 3:16 pm

Midrand Region is pleased to announce that their 2011 Calendar is now available at a cost of R100 each, with all proceeds going to worthy conservation projects within the Kruger Park.

It contains wonderful photographic memories of the Kruger Park - with descriptions by Dr Salomon Joubert plus other interesting snippets of information.

Will it be on sale in any of the Kruger camp shops?

Currently working on getting it into the shops but may take a while. Will post an update as soon as we have an answer.

I would love to have one of these great calendars. Are they available to be shipped internationally? Is a Paypal option of payment being considered for international lovers of Kruger?
Thank you!!
Dana

We are investigating an international payment option, and it MIGHT be available quite soon.

Will see what I can do to get some calendars to other countries. Have some overseas visitors coming here next month and they may be prepared to take a few back with them (to Canada, USA, Aus, UK and Dubai) and post them internally rather than from SA. Please email me on midrandhr@gmail.com if you are interested. No promises, but will try!

I bought a Calendar at the Getaway show on Sunday. What a wonderful aquisition. 8) Well researched, interesting, lovely illustations, a must buy for any Kruger lover.
I even recognised a contribution that Freda had made on one of the pages. Its the first time in my life that I have been reading a calendar from month to month the day of purchase.

Based on MM's sound advice, I have decided to treat myself to TWO calendars!!!

No, seriously though, I will be sending one to my parents.

So my order has been placed and paid for - just waiting for the mailman...
