I put my name down to take part in the Spotting Day ... got the lists of what one can see in the Park Not sure if I will have a clue how to tell the difference between Bibron's Gecko, Cape Dwarf Gecko, Cape Gecko, Common Barking Gecko, Giant Ground Gecko, Kalahari Ground Gecko, Rough-Scaled Gecko, Speckled Gecko

Won't you please mail me that list, D...will be great to have for our trip ...and to check what we missed...

If anyone wants the lists, just let me know. We included birds, mammals, reptiles, trees, shrubs, forbs and grasses so that the spotters would really look around.

I also hope all spotters have sent me their registration forms by now - and if there are any HR's out there coming to Indaba who now want to join the spotting gang, feelfree to let us know - the more the merrier.

And, finally, I hope all forumite spotters have their yellow ribbons ready...

To all HR's going to the Indaba: Drive carefully and arrive safely at your destination. Us ...... Staying at home, we envy you, enjoy it also, for our sake. Maybe one day we will have the opportunity to attend. Have a good time!!

Kgalagadi has produced wonderful weather to welcome the HRs.

A sign at the reception entrance put up by SANParks welcomes everyone.

Today is registration day - and how professionally it is being done

SO was given a goody bag and so was I - mine is way better than his tho

Many HRs are here, and others still arriving. Driving along in the Park, we often pass vehicles with the familiar HR insignia stickers on them. There is a certain bond and camaraderie here amongst the folk from all over the country.

Will try to keep you guys posted over the next few days.

Tomorrow, for me, is the KTP orientation course
