HR's PEAP goes to Joburg’s Spring Fair (from front page)

Over the past few months PEAP has had a busy schedule and did various dicplays:

JHB Getaway Show and KZN Careers Expo
SANParks and Honorary Rangers PEAP had a busy September at 2 major expo's, one in JHB and one in KZN. On 16 - 18 September the Annual Getaway Show took place at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg and once again SANParks had a display stand which was jointly manned by SANParks staff and PEAP representatives as well as Honorary Rangers from JHB, EAST Rand and West Rand regions. In KZN the Tourism Carreers Expo held from 17th to 19th September drew about 16 000 kids and Honorary Rangers from KZN assisted SANParks in manning the stand. PEAP would like to thank SANParks for offering Honorary Rangers the opportunity to participate in these 2 displays and would also like to thank all Honorary Rangers for their assistance and support.

PEAP at Kensington Spring Fair
PEAP held a display at the Spring fair in Kensington in JHB on Sunday the 6th September. It was a wonderful success lots of interest in the Junior Rangers and Honorary Rangers.There were about 21 000 people who saw the fair that day. Thank you to Mellory and Ernest Jordaan and Tarryn for their help in making the day a great success.


PEAP visit to Curro Private School
On the 27 & 28th August PEAP went to visit Curro Private school in Pretoria. Learners from Grades 3 to Grade 8 had the opportunity of visiting the PEAP display at their school over 2 days.

PEAP did a special display for kids at the JHB School for the Blind.

On 22 - 25 Oct PEAP held a display at Cresta Shopping Centre which drew a huge interest from many of the visitors.

PEAP also did a Display at Addo Elephant National Park and in December PEAP will be doing a display at Mopani Camp after a successfull display there during the July Holidays.

The Jhb Region will be holding a (PEAP)Public Education and Awareness display at the Sasol Birding Display at the Johannesburg Zoo on the 1st & 2nd May 2010
Come and join us and make a family day of it at the Zoo
We will also be holding another diplay at the Northgate Shopping Centre JHB on the 7th -9th May why not come and see what its about bring the little ones they can touch and learn
