I have just received a set as an early birthday present...... And am having to exercise huge self-control not to put it in the computer and start browsing! Too much else to do at the moment......but will enjoy looking through them in time to come.
Smiling is contagious. Start an epidemic today!

Have you read the entrance permit? Do you KNOW the Conditions of Entry?

Completed over 6 years in Kruger in my caravan.

If I was normal I wouldn't be me!

 Just fetched my set from the Post Office - they blamed the recent strike for the late delivery.

Opened the first CD - first edition of Custos Volume 1 December 1971 and the words of Rocco Knobel hits me between the eyes and it hits me hard:-

Man cannot create. He cannot even re-create that which he has destroyed. He can only conserve.

Get this set of four - Excellent value for your money.

Well done to all involved

(I'm going to be reading now  )

Is the set on a DVD or CD? I only have a CD drive on the laptop.
Also is every single magazine scanned in cover to cover? or just a selection.
I had a complete collection of CUSTOS which I donated to SPCA when I moved house to townhouse in 1998. It was huge - in plastic sleeves and storage tins.
Love to hear some feedback.

Hi Shidzidzii :)

This is what it's all about 8)
This DVD set contains scanned copies in pdf format of the entire collection of this magazine, from the first issue that was published in December 1971, right up to the final edition in September 1998.

You asked:
Also is every single magazine scanned in cover to cover?
Yes it is, even adverts

I find these DVD's, very fascinating and most interesting. A keepsake that i will always cherish

......and it is for a good course

I ordered the set as soon as it was available, and received it in the post in short order. I downloaded it all onto my laptop computer, and have enjoyed reading portions of it whenever I have a few extra minutes. I even read parts during our flights back to SA and then home again in October and November. This set is well worth it, with amazing articles and photos. The scientific articles are great!
I recommend this to anyone who is passionate about SANParks. It would be a great gift idea as well.
In search of creatures great and small, Kruger here we come!

This looks great but I live in the UK and don't trust the post system to get it to me undamaged.
I will be in the KNP for two weeks from next Saturday is there any way of picking one up there?
Cheers
Loony
