Goodmorning All

I found this plant at the local Spar and bought it because it was so beautiful.

What I would like to know is the name? Also, can I plant them outside or is this a house plant.

I know it doesnt have anything to do with Sanparks, but your assistance would be greatly appreciated

Hi
They are stunning. As far as I know your plant is a Bromeliad. They seem do grow well in the shade and have seen them grow beautifuuly in the Cape.
Cheers

It's a beautiful plant indeed. I only saw it as a house plant though..

Plant it in a nice warm but a biy shady spot in your garden .. and even if it only flowers once it does have lots of babies growing out from its roots and soon you will have a whole garden full .. I did .easu tp split up and replant I am not sure if they like frost as we were in KZN at the time
