Could be Senna petersiana - I have seen it in the Punda Maria camp so know it occurs there.

Checked with a colleague and she agrees with me, although also suggests the possibility of Senna abbreviata. Both occur in the area, and are not easy to tell apart in a photo like this.

I'll second that.

You of course would have to get two species in the area, Ehretia obtusifolia and E. rigida. The former has white flowers, so we are looking at the latter.

Hi,

Could someone please help me identify this tree I found in our garden? The seed was dropped by a bird.

It's a small tree and it has got latex in it when you break off a leaf. I have no idea what it is.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Hallo,

Could it be possible to identify this tree? Or would you really need a close up?
It was taken in september in the north of Kruger (somewhere between Shingwedzi and Punda). It really stood out against the dry landscape.
