Not sure if anyone else has posted on this plant so please excuse me if someone else has already...

I saw these plants alongside the sand road that goes to the Timbavati Picnic Spot in the KNP from Satara side and I was fascinated! What is it? :hmz:

Appreciate what you have before it becomes what you had.

It is a type of crinum. Probably Crinum delagoense (candy-striped crinum) but I don't have a book with me to confirm the species.

Agree with Imberbe that it is one of the crinums, but which one I don't know. I don't have a comprehensive book on these.

Also agree with crinium  a member member of the Amaryllidaceae family. Nice photo
