I would love some input.

Water in Africa is scarce, as scarce as in Israel.
In another thread, sorry I do not know how to press the "here" button, the challenge was that most of our camps are water unfriendly. There are lots of lawns and therefore lots of water usage.

I suggested, look at irrigation systems compare our approach to a country like Israel.

I am 100% behind BB, but I wonder if plant mad folks could add more to this discussion.

Just an "FYI". I was on the phone to DWAF this morning. They are doing an assessment of the extent of recreational water use activities within protected areas-including all SANParks. The gentleman I spoke with will compile a database of recreational water use activities within protected areas and will make some of the information available to us on the site-it should be an interesting read and he expects the project to be completed early next year. I've mailed him this thread as well...its such an important issue.
