I was going to ask all the learned people to help Identify a plant but this has been done by Ecojunkie in another post - Ecojunkie identified it as Wild hibiscus! Hibiscus cannabinus or trionum
I Googled it and i think that the ID is spot on - my question now is how can one propagate this and where would one get seeds (I presume that it is grown from Seed)

If this is not an alien plant you can contact the botanical gardens. They sell seeds for a very discounted price. I wanted to buy the kruisbessie tree and the seeds were R20 for 100 seeds

I don't think it is alien - there are thousands in the park - will follow the seed route but I have been lucky - I found a plant in Hazyview - it is now in my garden.
