Thank you for your messages.
We saw this herd in Kruger National Park,i think the name of the pan is Vutomi.
When we visited the park last february it was impossible to reach this area because the roads were closed (after the flood 2012 and 2013).
Hope we can drive this way another time!

We saw the ellies bathing/swimming at Mapungubwe Dec 2012 everyday in the mid day heat. Will see if I can find some pic's.
