 Post subject: Elephant with sore leg (?) at Addo Elephant Park

Does anyone know what is wrong with this elephant's leg?

Spotted in Addo on 3 September 2011. Seemed to have difficulty to walk and in pain. Is it broken, what happened? Can somebody identify this elephant?

Is it true that Addo has a policy not to help sick/ dying animals to rather let nature be nature?
