I would be interested! There is a real king cheetah at 'Cheetah Outreach' at Spier (?).

Hi Freedman I am also new here to the forum and so glad to have found it.

I saw King Cheetah in Kruger but it was about 15 years ago in the Talamati area. Have not heard of any other sitings since.

Would love to know if there are still some in KNP.

Rookie, that definitely should be Heathcliff. Have you seen the cub photo of him placed by Moose on the previous page? Boy, he is magnificent! Thanks for all the photo's, Michaelpr, Annemarie and Lionspoon and you, Rookie.

It is nice to have an update on Heathcliff.

My lovely boy has grown up! He's more than 9 months old now and he's at the stage where visitors come and say, 'those are cubs??'

Said goodbye to him last week, as i'l be away from Spier until June and he won't be there when I get back :( I must admit, his brother Felix was the one who had my heart. Heathcliff started out as a troublemaker, but soon Felix came out as the real naughty one. Very sweet boys and i'll miss them so much.

Will try to post some photos soon. Rookie2009- love you photos. Anyone else have any Heathcliff photos?

Hi Moose, :D :D

So glad you touched base again!!

Nice to know Heathcliff is still around and in good shape. Why will he not be in Spier when you go back in June? Is he being taken to another facility... or what..?

There is also a King cheetah at Dewildt cheetah centre in Gauteng or also known as THE ANNE VAN DYK Cheetah centre and you can watch him have a run as well as have a personal meet with him and have your photo taken with him. I guide there in spare time if anyone is interested

Mafunyane,

On the bottom of page 2 there is two photos of him. Unfortunately my posts prior to the photos as of where it was taken was cut out as I struggled to get my photos posted. But anyhow, the photos were taken in December 2006 at De Wildt. We were so lucky that they used him that day.
